A Note from the Director

Hello All, my name is Gina Meyer and I would like to thank you for enrolling in Next Level All Star Dance’s Fall Session! Located in central New Jersey, Next Level is dedicated to developing talent at the recreational, competitive, and professional level. As the Proprietor and Executive Director, I am committed to ensuring that every student is able not only to thrive in a positive, family oriented environment, where they can express themselves, but also to ensuring that the dancers have all the resources to be their personal best and excel to their very own "next level."

Next Level offers technique classes in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, hip-hop, acro-arts, and many more, and thrilled to be able to offer Master Classes to its students at various times throughout the year, bringing in professional choreographers from New York City, and from all across the country. Through the Company's Competitive Team, Next Level encourages its dancers to put their technique, skills and showmanship to the test at convention, dance intensives, and at highly selective competitions around the Country, where they have been recognized for their choreography, their technique and overall entertainment, finding their way to the top 5 in one of the largest World Dance Championships the past 3 seasons and winning the World Dance Championship in August of 2018.

Next Level stresses the fact that respect and the caliber of the dancer's character is one of the most important aspects a dancer can bring to stage or a room full of other dancers. Next Level is therefore most proud for receiving recognition, accolades, and even a Regional Competition team award named after the Studio for its Competitive Team's sportsmanship and unity towards other competitive studios and their students.

The awards and recognition only tell one story though. Next Level believes strongly of its obligation to give back to the community. This year, the dancers performed at a local nursing home during the holidays and participated in resident activities. The Studio has also been involved in various fundraisers, such as helping children fight against cancer, stocking food banks, and providing toys for children who are suffering ailments in hospitals. In memory of Carmen Mohamadi, proceeds from an in-house Solo Competition "The Sweetheart Showcase" and our Recital "Parent Dance-Off" were donated to a local Ronald McDonald House which helps keep families with ill children together and near the care and resources they need.

Next Level believes that developing a dancer is more than just dance. As Next Level’s seventh season comes to a close, and we enter our eighth season, I couldn’t be more excited! We have a full star-studded season ahead of us and I am so happy your child gets to be a part of it!
